I have always been told to apply it to the apples of your cheeks and diagonally towards your ears.
on the apples of the cheelk and brush in2 the temple area lightly
to your cheekbones. and follow it upwards to your hair line. Blending it in.
honestly i've struggled w/this as well. I've been told to smile and apply from your ';fatty part'; to your hair line. It sounds ugly but from a 1/2 inch away from your nose to a half inch from your hair line up. This includes bronzer as well.

On the most prominent part of your cheek bones, but not closer to the center of your face than the colored part of your eye. Start under the colored part, and sweep out toward the ear.
Smile then brush the clush where your cheeks are smooshed together then when you relax your face it will be evenly applied.
